Customer Support

When it comes to customer support, Eon has some room for development as some customers have stated that they find Eon to be confusing and that there is poor communication.

Positive Customer Support Review

Harriss on Trustpilot:

Fantastic easy to reach customer services. Honest and accurate energy advice. Competitive quotes. Recommend contacting energy company for quotes on home energy improvement.

Negative Customer Support Review

Olwynn Frankton on Trustpilot:

If I could give no stars, I would. They have an amazingly confusing billing system which the staff when you ring them, can’t explain to you. They tell you that you can alter your direct debit payments online, but when I tried it was not possible because the “account is under annual review”.

Eon Reviews

Eon does not have a positive customer reputation online with a 1-star rating on Trustpilot, with only 4% of the reviews positive and a massive 90% of reviews falling within the negative 1-star category.

Although online reviews are not always accurate or reliable, they are still an essential part of deciding whether you want to switch suppliers.

Positive Eon Review

Lauren Keenan on Trustpilot:

I’m very happy with Eon. They did take three months to set up my account, but as an apology, they wiped the bills for those three months. I had a complaints manager that communicated with me regularly and found it easy to get through and speak to someone when submitting meter readings.

Negative Eon Review

Marcin Florek on Trustpilot:

Very expensive, can’t sort simple things. They make mistakes than when you call to get sorted no one knows what to do when you want to switch to other company they just doing everything to make worse.
